Henderson County Schools will be closed on Monday, January 13th, 2025, due to hazardous conditions on many backroads throughout the district’s bus routes. After careful evaluation of road conditions, district officials have determined that it is unsafe for school buses to operate on several rural and secondary roads. “The safety of our students and staff is always our top priority,” said Mr. Danny Beecham, Director of Henderson County Schools. “Although primary roads appear to be in good condition, many of our bus routes rely on backroads that remain challenging due to lingering snow and the threat of refreezing.” We appreciate the understanding and cooperation of our families and staff as we prioritize the safety of our students and staff.
