ATTENTION: COMING HOME TODAY!
As required by a new TN State Law (TCA 63-1-173), Families' Rights and Responsibilities Act, parents/guardians must provide consent for their child to receive non-emergency health services (school nurse services) and/or mental health services at school. Students whose parents do not give consent will receive care in an emergency (until EMS arrives), but will NOT be able to see the school nurse for routine care for things such as routine wound care, nose bleeds, application of ice packs, temperature checks, oral/topical medications over the counter medications, illness assessments, etc. Without consent, students will also not be able to see the School Social Workers/ Licensed Counselors for mental health concerns that might arise while at school. This does not include school counseling.
Please fill out, check yes or no, sign, and return by August 26th.
Thank you!!!

Middle School Tennis Team Information

We will be changing up our car rider drop off and pick up this year. We are changing back to 2 lanes and pulling in the second driveway. I'm including aerial shots indicating the turn in and the 2 lanes of use. The lane closest to the building will be for Kindergarten thru 4th grade, shown in green, and the 2nd lane will be for 5th thru 8th grade indicated in orange. If you have children in multiple grades and any of them are below 5th grade please use the lane closest to the building. We are ready to start the new year and get our great students back in the building!

Voluntary PreK (VPK) is an income-based program and first priority will go to those families that qualify. Completing the Henderson County PreK application packet does not necessarily guarantee enrollment in the PreK program. Non-income eligible students are placed on a waiting list once all paperwork is complete. Once all qualifying students are placed, non-income eligible students will receive notice informing them of their status after the beginning of school, per the VPK grant guidelines.

Are you interested in being a substitute teacher? Here is your opportunity!

Are you ready?!? We are prepared for a great new school year!!

Mrs. Gennifer Leslie, Henderson County School Nurse Supervisor, would like all parents to know that the health department is offering a Saturday clinic this weekend in order to help working parents get their child immunized prior to returning to school!
