🎾Congratulations to Chandler Roberson, Megan Wood, and Morgan Wood on their performances today in the regional tournament. Chandler lost his opening round match, but had a great season. Megan and Morgan Wood made it to the Region Championship and finished runner-up. This concludes their season and Coach Bartlett is proud of all they accomplished this year and thanks everyone for supporting the team and players this season.
It was pretty incredible watching our LHS family work together today! Teachers and staff... you were simply amazing. Thank you for all of your hard work. It may not be Jim Stowe Stadium, but our gym looks incredible! ❤️🎓

Due to the change in weather forecast from yesterday and in the best interest of our graduates, we have decided to have our 2023 LHS graduation in the gymnasium. This decision was not made lightly. We ask that you give us grace and kindly understand that we weighed all options and have made the right decision. Therefore, students participating in the graduation ceremony will receive two more tickets, for a total of 10. The colors will be announced to the seniors at graduation practice at 10 am. Again, we regret having to take this action; we, too, were looking forward to an outside graduation.
Henderson County Field Day 2023!! What a great success! Thank you to Mr. Chris Smith (Field Day Coordinator), Kim Bryant, Jeff Griggs, Daniel Lewis, Jamie Simonton, County School Resource Officers, Lexington City Officers, THP, Janet Simonton, Katrina Lewis, Tracy McClerking, Becky Beal, Brantley Smith, our cafeteria workers from each school, so many incredible teacher chaperones, and Lexington High School student helpers! What a fun day for so many students!!!
Lexington High School graduation will be held Friday night on Jim Stowe Field at 7 pm. In anticipation of the weather during the time allotted for graduation practice, we have decided to have graduation practice at 10:00 a.m. in the LHS Gymnasium. Graduates will have 16 tickets, among other important paperwork, in their packets on their chairs at graduation practice. Gates will be open to ticket holders at 6:00 pm. All graduates must be lined up on the track by 6:30 pm. Graduation will start promptly at 7:00 pm.

🎾Congratulations to the LHS Girl’s Tennis Team. They finished the season district runner-up in the team championship. This was back-to-back years this senior group has been to the team district championship. Last year they won the championship. This brings the girl’s season to a close with Megan and Morgan Wood still set to compete in the individual tournament as a doubles team next week.
