We are so proud of our 3rd graders and their teachers for working so hard to prepare for the TCAP test. It has been a long stressful year but we believe their hard work will pay off in the end. Thank you to these wonderful students for being an inspiration to us all!
Our Pre-K kiddos enjoyed a day out on April 14th. We love our tiny bears, and are so glad to have this fledgling year of PK for WES! Thank you, GCA Gymnastics, for a wonderful and well-planned day. We love supporting local businesses and community organizations.
Ms. Cari Hayes is collecting coke tabs for Ronald McDonald House. If you have some that you'd like to get rid of please send them to Mrs. Cari.
Westover’s 3rd through 8th grade students worked hard to prepare for TCAP in a fun and rewarding way! Our students have been engaged for the past two weeks in TCAP Blitz, where we are utilizing online standards-based programs to review our grade level standards. There are weekly drawings for students and for teachers. There is a reward day set for May 12, where students who qualify will participate in fun activities of varying levels, based on the number of qualifying lessons they have completed. Students who have completed 100 qualifying lessons gain a ticket for Water Wars which will include a water balloon fight against the teachers!
