Last week we celebrated Homecoming at Westover. We started the week with a bear hunt. There were 400 tiny bears hidden throughout the building and classes earned points by finding bears. On Tuesday and Wednesday we had class competitions with our 5th through 8th graders. Teachers even got in on the fun by playing a day of Rochambeau! Thursday was the BIG day! We had a super fun homecoming pep rally where 8th grade took home the spirit stick. That night all of our basketball teams won against Bargerton, and our cheerleaders rocked it out with tons of spirit. Maddison Stegall was crowned homecoming queen by her dad. Her court included 8th graders Kyndalyn Wallace and McKinley Matheny, 7th grader Cassie Crowe, 6th grader Logan Baranowski, and 5th grader Emersyn Cepparullo. Tons of fun was had by all. It was a GREAT week to be a bear!
