
SHHS Parents/Guardians - Complete Your Required Online Forms Now
If you need assistance or access to a computer, staff members will be available to help on Registration Day, Friday, August 1st.
Please note: Students will not be able to receive their school-issued Chromebooks until all required forms have been completed and submitted. This is because the Acceptable Use Policy and Chromebook Agreement are included in the online documents.

To help make your Back-to-School process quicker and more efficient, we encourage all parents and guardians to complete the required annual online forms before the start of the school year.
This is required for all returning students from Henderson County Schools. Even if your address, phone number, or email has not changed, EACH OF THESE ITEMS must still be completed each year to ensure accurate information and effective communication throughout the school year.
The following items must be reviewed and updated through the Parent VUE (not Rooms):
✅ Verify your current address, phone number, and email address.
✅ Select YES for Text Communication to receive important messaging.
✅ TN Parent Occupational Survey – Sign and Date as 08/01/2025.
✅ Relationships Section – Check all boxes that apply. Parent/Guardian should not be deleted unless updated Parenting Plan or Custody Papers are provided to the Counselor’s Office.
✅ Health Forms:
Medical History – Sign and Date as 08/01/2025.
Immunization Record Release – Sign and Date as 08/01/2025.
Families’ Rights and Responsibilities Act – Sign and Date as 08/01/2025.
OTC Medication – Sign and Date as 08/01/2025.
✅ Information Release & Technology Forms:
COPPA – Provide YES/NO consent to use approved school applications.
Acceptable Use Policy – Sign and Date as 08/01/2025.
Media Consent Form – Sign and Date as 08/01/2025.
Chromebook Agreement – Sign and Date as 08/01/2025.
Attendance Information – Sign and Date as 08/01/2025.

Grace is a proud graduate of Lexington High School and Middle Tennessee State University. She began her teaching career in 2007 at Caywood Elementary and most recently served as a Middle School Career Coach with Henderson County.
Mrs. Carter is excited to begin her 19th year in education at SHHS as the Career Advisor and Work-Based Learning Supervisor. She looks forward to supporting and guiding students as they plan for life after high school.
Outside the classroom, Grace enjoys spending time with her husband, Trey, and daughters, Claire and Abby. She also loves reading, cooking, camping, and working in her yard.

Brenda is a 2025 graduate of the University of Tennessee at Martin and a proud former SHHS student!
Brenda shared, “I am very blessed and excited to have the opportunity to be a part of the SHHS team. I look forward to my first year teaching Spanish in a great small town with a great group of people.”

Debbie is a long-time member of the Henderson County community, and both of her children, Cassie and Ryan, graduated from Lexington High School.
Throughout her career, Debbie has worn many hats: academic coach, librarian, business/computer science teacher, and school counselor. She believes in creating a learning environment where students are engaged, challenged, and feel a true sense of connection.
She looks forward to her new role at SHHS and hopes to make a lasting, positive impact on the lives of our students.

Hunter Sims from Henderson County Schools was named the 2025 Tennessee ACTE (Association for Career & Technical Education, West TN) Student of the Year. On Wednesday, July 16th, in Smyrna, TN, at the Tennessee College of Applied Technology-Nissan Training Facility, during the opening session of the 2025 CTE Summer Institute, Hunter was nominated based on his CTE achievements, numerous FFA accomplishments, and HS Jigs entrepreneurial success. He was presented with a personalized etched glass award by the Executive Director, the ACTE President, and the President Elect.
