Beaver Hornets played with heart, guts, and determination from the get go, but lost in the Semifinals of the James C Haile tournament 32-29 to Lobelville. Coach Jen and Coach Cordaro couldn’t be prouder of their effort tonight. This special group of players each walked away with the Henderson County Championships this season and played against some of the elite teams in Tennessee. Thank you to all of the parents, cheerleaders, and fans who have supported both our Beaver Boys and Girls this season. #NeverGiveUp,NeverGiveIn 💙

Due to a significant number of students and staff being affected by illness, the Henderson County School District will be closed beginning Wednesday, January 29, Thursday, January 30, and Friday, January 31, to help combat the ongoing health concerns. School will resume on Monday, February 3. Again, this will begin tomorrow morning. All scheduled events for this afternoon and tonight, Tuesday, January 28th, will proceed as scheduled. We understand how disruptive this is, but with such a large number of absences, it’s necessary to prioritize the health and safety of our students and staff. We encourage everyone to rest, recover, and take the necessary health precautions during this time. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation. Danny J Beecham Henderson County Schools
