Beaver School had their Literacy Night on Tuesday , February 4th. The students and parents went through the story walk and read the “The Mitten” and made Q-Tip Snowflakes, Marshmallow snowmen or snowflakes, made fake snow, hot cocoa, marble painted, answered a question about the book , and wrote a new ending for the story. Parents had the opportunity to learn ways to help their child with reading at home. Parents and students also had the opportunity to visit the book fair. The Henderson County STEM bus was here, and the parents took a tour and participated in an activity.
