Henderson County Substitute Training is Thursday, August 17, 2023 from 8:30am until 11:30am at the Watson Center. BGS has a need for substitutes!
System Nursing Announcement....
Dear Henderson County Schools Parent/Guardians:
Say “hello” to two-way messaging and classroom announcements in the Henderson County app! With the addition of Rooms, our district app keeps getting better.
Parents/guardians, check your email tonight for instructions to sign up and access new features. If you do not get an email by Tuesday morning, it will be largely due to your email address not being correct in the system. If this is the case for you, please kindly and patiently contact your child's school to ensure the school has the correct email address.
Once you have received the email and followed the instructions, you can log on through the Henderson County Schools App. The “Rooms” feature is a button in the bottom right corner of the phone screen. If not, please update your app. “Rooms” can also be accessed via the web at https://id.edurooms.com/. A direct link to this site will be conveniently located on the Henderson County Schools Website.
Your child can do the same as above but they will not receive an invitation email like the parents/guardians. They can now access “Rooms” through the app or their personal Chromebook via the web.
Remember, this is how all teachers, coaches, club sponsors, students, and parent/guardian communication will happen from this point forward. Therefore, it is critical that parents and students are logged into the “Rooms” portal and that notifications are turned on.
We are opening the online enrollment program Wednesday, August 16th, 2023.

This past week, 8th graders were learning about Speed, Velocity and Acceleration. During their lessons, they participated in labs that provided evidence of each of these. Below are some pictures of our 8th graders in action!

Part of the 8th grade class was able to begin their "Soil Your Undies" Challenge today by planting a pair of underwear on the baseball field at BGS. In the spring, we will dig them up to determine the soil quality.
We were excited to kick-off our World’s Finest Chocolate candy bar fundraiser with a rally today! All money raised goes toward benefiting students through various rewards. We are asking each student to sell one complete box to help with the fundraiser. Information was sent home with your child today. Thank you in advance for helping our school!
Bargerton Back to School Dance sponsored by BGS PTO Friday, August 11, 2023 for students in grades 5-8. The dance will be held in the gym from 6-8pm, and it costs $5 to attend. **Only Bargerton students will be allowed to attend the dance.
We have some extra REBELS shirts leftover from our preregistration night.
