Forty eight students & their grandparents/parents/grown-ups spent time together today reading & testing on a library book earning AR points for the week & minutes read toward their Read-A-Thon fundraiser goal! A special thanks to our PTO volunteers Bre Avalos & Molly Franklin!
•REBEL READING NIGHT for K-4 students & parents, grandparents, or grownups• Our BGS will be sponsoring a Rebel Reading Night, Monday, September 18, 3:00-4:00pm. Please come & read with your child. This will benefit your child in our Read-A-Thon & with AR Points as well. And, you will be so proud of your little one!

Mrs. Stanford's 8th Graders open their Magnetism and Electric Lesson with a Van De Graaf Generator. The kids laughs and excitement weren't the only thing that was ELECTRIFYING!!! ⚡️💡
Mrs. Stanford's 8th graders participated in an interactive lab based on Newtons 3rd Law. They created and documented balloon rockets.

Today begins our Read-A-Thon Fundraiser sponsored by our Bargerton PTO. Our dates this year are September 5th-19th. Students were given a reader reminder sheet with information explaining the Read-A-Thon program and how to set up your child's personal Read-A-Thon page. Our goal is 100% student participation. Prizes will be awarded to the:
•top homeroom with the most minutes read.
•top student in each homeroom with the most minutes read.
•top ten students school wide with the most minutes read.
