
Want to be a substitute teacher in Henderson County? The New Substitute Teacher Training Workshop will be held on January 9, 2024, from 8:30 - 11:30 at the Watson Emergency Management Building.


The Bargerton Little Dribblers will perform at Lexington High School on Tuesday, January 9th during the girl's halftime. They need to be at Lexington High School at 6:00 pm with their shirt on and basketball ready to go. We are so excited to watch them perform the skills they have learned one last time for Lexington Tigers fans!

All Henderson Co. School Students will begin to receive free breakfasts and lunches starting tomorrow! This is due to Henderson County's eligibility for the CEP (Community Eligibility Provision) Program. If you have any questions, please contact your school's cafeteria manager.

THANK YOU to these ladies & BGS PTO for a phenomenal "Bargerton Express" Day! (Notice the amazing train built by Mrs. Bre Avalos). These ladies are so creative and love going the extra mile to make our kids smile!
Our day began with all students receiving a bell as well as a ticket for the Bargerton Express. Each student got their ticket punched and received cookies and hot chocolate after lunch. Students were also able to participate in decorating a Christmas ornament. We had a fabulous day of fun!











Congratulations to our 12 students who reached 75 points in Accelerated Reader during the 2nd Nine Week Grading Period! These students were treated with a McDonald's lunch for reaching their AR Point Club goal of 75 points.

Christmas Program tonight at 6pm in the big gym. Classes who sing will sit with their teacher, and classes who have art on display will sit with their families. After the singing part of the program, families are invited to view art on display in the hallways as well as the rest of the school. Teachers and students have done an amazing job decorating Bargerton School for Christmas! We look forward to celebrating tonight with everyone and spreading JOY in REBEL COUNTRY!!!

ALL ABOARD THE Bargerton Express tomorrow Wednesday, December 13th brought to you by BGS PTO!!!! We will have ornaments for students to decorate as a gift to their families. Please send $2 each in a sealed envelope if you want your child to decorate an ornament. Students can wear pajamas along with anything that has bells tomorrow. We will also have cookies and hot chocolate to hand out to the students. We are looking forward to a great day!

Bargerton School hosted the Varsity County Basketball Tournament the week of December 4th-December 10th. A special thank you to our coaches, teachers, SRO, cafeteria ladies, custodians and our entire staff for making this event the best possible.
