The Wedding Ceremony of Mr. Q & Miss U……
We are gathered here today to unite Q and U forever. It will be a ‘quiet’ ceremony. We will try to move quickly through vows and get to the cake so there will be no quarrelling! Please save any questions until we quit or end this quant ceremony.
When Mr. Q realized he couldn’t go anywhere in a word without Miss U, he knew they would be together forever.
Miss U is a fine letter individually and is free to form words by herself; words such as: umbrella, unicorn, unite, up, and under.
However, Q finds himself needing more, a letter he may travel with in words. Side by side these two letters form words such as: quick, quiet, queen, and quest.
Once they are joined together, they will forever make the sound of /kw/.
Q and U promised to stay together through quicksand, earthquakes, and during quiet times. Mrs. U promised to continue to make words by herself but to forever stand by Q whenever he wanted to make a word. Together they make wonderful words such as: queen, quest and question.

Not only are these young ladies and coaches winners on the volleyball court, they are also winners in life! Today they played a blue vs. gold volleyball game for the student body and raised money that will be donated to the Down Syndrome Association of West TN. World Day Syndrome Day is celebrated each year on 3/21 (March 21st) which represents 3 copies of the 21st chromosome. Thank you to a great group of BGS Rebels!
